Harran Plain will survive only by farm-like stockbreeding.

Agriculture and Stockbreeding Development Commission of SUTSO was highly supported by various institutions due to their suggestion on farm-like stockbreeding in Şanlıurfa. In the 3rd meeting of the commission, it was stated that the only solution for the aridity problem of Harran Plain which has seriously increased in recent years is to expand farm-like breeding in the region along with forage crops planting which release organic substance into soil and decrease the aridity level.
